Kelly Corey, Director of Graduate Business Programs, Professor of Business
It was an honor to spend three weeks in an intensive Exploring Leadership course with Leah.
As the designer and facilitator of the course, I hoped that students would observe and learn leadership approaches and consider how they could apply that new knowledge to their assignments and their lives.
Leah dove into the course activities with passion and perseverance, seeking to gain insight from every experience and enrich those experiences for those around her by asking great questions and engaging in powerful dialogue. In immersive culinary, service, networking, and solution-finding activities, Leah analyzed, reflected, and, when appropriate, stepped courageously and thoughtfully into leadership roles. In getting to know Leah beyond class, I've found that's how she approaches everything -- courageously and thoughtfully. I am excited to see how she invests her authentic leadership skills in the future!

I am honored to provide a recommendation for Leah Hopkins. Leah has been a student in my Graphic Design courses at the University of Olivet the past two years. In my career as a professor and design professional, I would consider her one of the most talented and passionate student I have ever had. In my classes, Leah has displayed an exceptional understanding of all facets of graphic design and always ask the right questions when working on a project. She has also proven herself to have a diverse understanding of many different niches and industries and is extremely versitle in her approach. Her work is professional level and this is reflected in the many opportunities she has had already in the field.
I have also come to know Leah as a person who is extremely hard working and driven to be the best and spends timeless hours researching to learn more. Additionally, she can work interchangeably as an individual or as a valued part of a group environment. She has a high capacity for both creative and technical thinking and is very self managed and highly capable of problem solving when needed.
I highly recommend Leah for consideration for any graphic design related position and feel confident that she would exceed expectations.
Lisa Collins, Graphic Designer/Brand Manager at The University of Olivet
Leah is an outstanding graphic designer who is fantastic to work with. She is a hard worker, putting in the time necessary for last-minute deadlines. Her ability to switch gears and move from one project to the next is amazing. She is a pleasure to work with, listens, and pushes herself to grow her craft.
Jacob Schuler, Associate Director Residence Life and Education Engagement
Leah did a fantastic job with graphics for our first Comet Con this past spring. We gave her full reign on the project, and she did not disappoint. The graphics were modern and in line with the con direction/feel we requested. She was able to make small updates quickly and provide us final drafts in all of our requested formats for printing and digital posting. I am only sad that she will not be working with us on this year’s materials. I would highly recommend.
